seeks to recognize and honor meritorious individuals and organizations for extraordinary and outstanding achievements throughout the Middle East.


Middle East Awards
will be the first of its kind and one of the biggest events in the region, as well the most prestigious award ceremonies honoring outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community.


Middle East Awards
ceremony will be broadcast live via terrestrial and satellite transmission from the heart of one of the worlds most focused cities in the Middle East at the present time. Over 100 million total viewers worldwide will be watching this spectacular global event.


Date:

The event will take place in year 2008.


Place:

The presentation ceremony will be held in a five stars luxury venue, in one of the most prestige’s city in the Middle East.


Concept:

It is a non political and secular annual event recognizing extraordinary achievements by honoring and rewarding outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions in the community throughout the Arab World. The festival is an innovative concept that has never existed before in the Middle East and which will receive extensive national and international media coverage.

Nominations:

The nomination and selection procedure begins with intensive research concerning qualified nominees involving leadership and achievement in different sectors within the region’s society.


The  award  recipients  must  meet  all  the  requirements  of  Middle East Awards to be eligible for award consideration.  Nominations and balloting for these nominations is restricted to the Middle East Awards members and nominations which have been submitted in prior years may be reviewed and resubmitted.


Up to 280 nominations are made throughout the 14 countries in the Middle East, divided into 20 categories. A committee of distinguished persons
from associated official departments and establishments assists the Middle East Awards members by recognizing and evaluating the nominees.  The final winners are determined by vote using software under US license.


Generally, these particular award categories require special procedures, timelines and other factors in order to meet the nominee eligibility requirements.

Voting:

The Middle East Awards members have 75% impact on the voting marks, and the TV viewers have 25% impact on the voting marks. Recent surveys indicate that TV viewers get attached in a very short period to interactive reality live programs and shows. With the event distinguished impact it will attract millions and millions of TV viewers to watch and participate in voting through mobile calls and SMSs.


Prizes:

A golden trophies constructed by the best craftsmen will be presented for each category winner and certificates to the nominees. In addition to the twenty awards, there is the Honorary Award of the Year this is considered the highest accolade available to the award recipients.

Ceremony:

The Middle East Awards presentation ceremony will take place in a luxury venue, hosting approximately 1,500 VIP guests (With gala dinner reception optional). The stage is to be equipped with 2 giant projection screens, a state-of-the-art lighting and special effect equipments, professional sound system and other equipment meeting international standards for a production of this magnitude.


Dress Code:

It is extremely important for the nominees and the invitees at the ceremony date to wear formalwear.


Calendar & Program:

Thursday, the nominees will arrive to the hosted country. At 20:00 welcoming cocktail reception at the hotel with video shooting (30sec) for each individual nominee to be broadcast during the presentation ceremony.

Friday, at 21:00 the show and the awards presentation ceremony will take place (Within gala dinner optional).

Saturday, the nominees will departure the hosted country.

Detailed schedule will be handled to the nominees upon arrival.


Media coverage:

Most of the leading professional sectors in the Middle East, along with numerous national and international news correspondents who will be covering this spectacular key event through live terrestrial and satellite transmission. Over 100 million total viewers worldwide will be watching this spectacular global event.


Sponsors:

The show will attract a high level of public attention throughout the Middle Eastern TV viewers and will have huge potential to attract major sponsors seeking to promote national and international brands and labels, which makes this event the ideal event to promote high visibility marketing campaigns.


Charity

Donations:

The Middle East Awards will sell 20% (Twenty percent) of the event tickets and donate the proceeds to thousands of children in need through national and regional charities through the “Save Our Children” program.

This event will generate great international awareness, not only of the outstanding achievements of the award recipients but also for the children’s charity.

Show

rundown:

The Middle East Awards will be live broadcast show and it is divided into seven entries, including five entertainment acts and six commercial breaks.

The 30 seconds video speech for each “Individual Nominee” and the 30 second video Ad for each “Firm Nominee” will be broadcast live during each category award presentation.

Show

format:

Professional, high caliber international production, approximately two hours of live broadcast show, which includes various top entertainment acts and several celebrity hosts presenting the segments, as well the appearance of VIP guests.

Production & Organization:

The event is to be produced by a creative professional crew from Europe and USA who have been responsible for a consistently high quality of event productions, such asAcademy Awards”, “Miss World” and “World Super Model”.
